Who we are
CouchCertified offers affordable, self-paced professional development courses for Massachusetts educators. We started CouchCertified because PD shouldn’t cost a week’s salary and require sitting in a hotel ballroom on a Saturday.
What we believe
- PD should respect your time. Self-paced courses, no fixed schedule, no commute.
- PD should respect your wallet. A full 15-PDP module is $89, not $400.
- PD should be rigorous. Every CouchCertified course meets MA DESE High Quality Professional Development Standards.
Where we’re going
Year 1 (2026–2027): Massachusetts SEI endorsement courses for ELL teachers.
Year 2 (2027–2028): District-wide enrollment for school districts that want to support teachers with paid PD.
