Do these courses count toward my Massachusetts PDPs?
Yes. Every course awards 15 PDP hours toward your Massachusetts professional license renewal once you complete every module's Knowledge Check, submit every reflection, and pass the Final Exam.
How long do I have to complete a course?
Enrollments do not expire. Work through each course at your own pace — most teachers finish in 2–4 weekends.
What happens if I fail a quiz?
Knowledge Checks have unlimited retakes; you need 4 of 5 correct (80%) to advance. The Final Exam allows 2 attempts at 70%. If you fail Attempt 2, you get a free re-enrollment that resets the course so you can retake everything.
How do I get my certificate?
Once you pass every Knowledge Check, submit every reflection, and pass the Final Exam, your PDP certificate PDF is generated automatically and emailed to you within five minutes. It's also available in your learner dashboard at learn.couchcertified.com.
Can I earn PDPs without finishing the whole course?
No. PDPs are awarded only when you complete the entire course — all modules plus the Final Exam. There is no partial credit. This matches the Massachusetts standard for verified PD completion.

Do I need to be a Massachusetts teacher?
Year 1 courses target the Massachusetts SEI endorsement and general PDP hours. Teachers from other states are welcome to enroll, but verify with your state's licensing body that Massachusetts PDPs are accepted before purchasing.
