When can I start?
Our first courses are still in production. Add your email on any course page and we will tell you the moment enrollment opens.
Do your courses award PDPs?
Yes. Massachusetts awards PDPs only for professional development of at least 10 hours on a single topic, so every CouchCertified course is built to meet or exceed that threshold — we don't sell anything shorter. Each course page states the exact number of PDPs it awards. You earn them by passing every Knowledge Check, submitting every reflection, and passing the Final Exam.

How long do I have to complete a course?
Enrollments do not expire. Work through each course at your own pace.
How do I sign in?
There is no password. Enter your email and we send you a sign-in link — click it and you are in. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then contact us.
What happens if I fail a quiz?
Knowledge Checks have unlimited retakes; you need 70% to advance. The Final Exam allows 2 attempts at 70%. If you fail Attempt 2, you get a free re-enrollment that resets the course so you can retake everything.
How do I get my certificate?
Once you pass every Knowledge Check, submit every reflection, and pass the Final Exam, your certificate is generated automatically and emailed to you. It is also available any time in your learner dashboard.
Does my certificate expire?
No. Your certificate does not expire and carries no expiry date. It stays in your learner dashboard, and its verification link keeps working.
Can my district verify my certificate?
Yes. Every certificate carries a unique verification link printed on it. Anyone you share it with — a district administrator, a licensing reviewer — can open that link and confirm the certificate is genuine, without needing an account.
Can I earn PDPs without finishing the whole course?
No. PDPs are a Massachusetts credential, and we award them only when you complete an entire course — every module, every Knowledge Check, every reflection, and the Final Exam. There is no partial credit, and we can't issue a PDP certificate for a partially finished course. Massachusetts awards PDPs only for professional development of at least 10 hours on a single topic, and every CouchCertified course meets that threshold, so finishing one earns you the full PDP figure listed on its course page. Other states set their own rules — a completed course may still qualify as professional development elsewhere, but confirming that is yours to do with your licensing body.

Do I get anything I can use in my classroom?
Yes. Every module includes three PDFs to download and keep — a summary study guide, a Module Action Plan, and classroom-ready templates.
Can my school or district enroll a group?
Yes. We work with schools and districts on group enrollment, including a dashboard for tracking your teachers' progress and completions. Get in touch and we will set it up.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not completed more than one module. See the full refund policy for details.
Do I need to be a Massachusetts teacher?
No. We are starting with Massachusetts as we roll out our first courses, so they are built to meet Massachusetts requirements for English language learner professional development. Teachers anywhere are welcome to enroll. Other states set their own rules — the course may still qualify as professional development there, but confirming that is yours to verify with your licensing body.
