Eve Miller

Co-founder and CEO

A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with 17 years in accounting operations — treasury, AR, AP, and financial reporting — Eve has spent her career running the financial side of organizations. She leads strategy and operations at CouchCertified, including the pricing decisions that keep a full 15-PDP course at $89 instead of $400.

Knits, hikes, cooks, and travels when the calendar allows. English is her second language. She and Matt are married and are raising a daughter.

Jennifer Johnson

Co-founder and Chief Academic Officer

Massachusetts-licensed ESL educator with the SEI endorsement and more than 20 years in classrooms — 7 of them teaching ESL across Massachusetts school districts. She leads course design: WIDA-aligned units, ACCESS for ELLs administration and score interpretation, and SIOP-aligned sheltered instruction.

Traveling, puzzles, coloring, and reading fill the time outside the classroom.

More than 25 years in IT for Fortune 500 companies and startups, implementing and maintaining systems — most recently in identity management. CouchCertified is the one he built from scratch: this site and the learning platform behind it, from course delivery and checkout to the certificate that reaches your inbox when you finish.
