1. Who we are
CouchCertified LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides self-paced professional development courses to teachers.
2. Your account
We use passwordless email sign-in, so keep access to your email account secure. One person, one account. Sharing an account voids your enrollment and certificate.
3. Course access
Enrollments do not expire. You may complete a module at your own pace. Your certificate is issued only after passing every Knowledge Check, submitting every reflection, and passing the Final Exam.
4. Payment and refunds
Prices are listed in USD on the pricing page. Payment is processed by Stripe. See our refund policy for the full terms; the short version is full refund within 7 days if you have completed no more than one Section.
5. Intellectual property
Course content (video, text, quizzes, exams) is owned by CouchCertified. You may not redistribute, republish, or resell course content. You may use your certificate for license-renewal purposes.
6. Acceptable use
No bots, no scraping, no automated quiz-taking, no account sharing.
7. Disclaimer
CouchCertified courses award Massachusetts Professional Development Points (PDPs). Massachusetts awards PDPs only for professional development of at least 10 hours on a single topic; every CouchCertified course meets that threshold, and each course page states the number of PDPs it awards. PDPs are issued on full completion of a course — there is no partial credit. If you are licensed outside Massachusetts, whether your state, district, or licensing body accepts Massachusetts PDPs toward renewal is yours to verify with them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CouchCertified’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.
